Il periodo storico considerato è
particolarmente travagliato, difficile e con rapidi mutamenti. Quindi
la sua cronologia e storiografia sono di non agevole catalogazione
e comprensione in tutti i suoi aspetti. Il volume R.S.I. / Luogotenenza
e Seconda Guerra Mondiale rappresenta, per tali motivi, il "fiore
all’occhiello" del C.E.I. per la sua accurata completezza.
In questa edizione è stata inserita
anche la catalogazione del Territorio Libero di Trieste (zona A e
B) che in precedenza costituiva appendice nel volume Repubblica Italiana.
Le circa 100 pagine in bianco e nero del C.E.I. edizione 1995/96 si
sono trasformate in 416 pagine a colori. È un esempio della
specializzazione costante seguita dai nostri cinque volumi. Tutti
i capitoli sono stati aggiornati ed integrati con le note che molti
lettori ci hanno inviato e che il Comitato
di Esperti ha vagliato e ritenute meritevoli di inserimento.
Nel volume sono state riportate alcune pagine recanti le risposte
fornite da 10 periti filatelici di chiara fama sui più rilevanti
aspetti del mondo filatelico.
Altra caratteristica di questo volume riguarda le diverse "emissioni
locali e propagandistiche" con un elenco alfabetico che facilita
la ricerca delle varie città e delle Occupazioni straniere.
La Franchigia Militare ed una serie di cartine geografiche d'Italia
testimoniano le fasi belliche più importanti dal 1940 al 1947.
Since the historical period analysed in this volume was particularly
troubled and full of rapid changes, its chronology and historiography
are usually rather difficult to be catalogued and understood. Therefore
the detailed completeness of the volume dedicated to the R.S.I. /
Regency and Second World War can be definitely considered the most
precious part of the Encyclopedic Catalogue.
The present edition also includes a cataloguing of the Free Territory
of Trieste (zones A and B), which previously constituted an appendix
to the volume Italian Republic.
The about 100 black and white pages featuring the 1995/96 edition
of the C.E.I. are now turned into 416 colour pages, thus proving the
constant evolution of our five volumes. Each chapter was updated and
enriched with interesting contributions provided by our numerous readers
and praised by the Expert Committee. This edition provides all values
in euro and has the privilege to quote the answers given by 10 of
the most well-known philatelic experts to some of the most relevant
philatelic questions. A section is dedicated to the different "local
and propaganda issues", with an alphabetical list in order to
facilitate the search for single towns or foreign Occupations. The
Military Franchise and a series of geographic maps of Italy finally
provide an account of the most relevant war phases from 1940 to 1947.
